Toruń is a beautiful pearl of Gothic architecture. A city listed on the UNESCO world heritage list and one of the most interesting cities in Poland. It is worth showing it to foreign guests, if only for the sake of the famous gingerbread or as the birthplace of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus.
08:30 – hotel pick up and departure from Bydgoszcz
10:00 – arrival to Toruń, guided city tour (including: Old Town Square, Leaning Tower, Szeroka Street, remains of the Teutonic Castle, Nicolaus Copernicus monument, St. Johns Cathedral)
12:00 – visit to the Planetarium – The Planetarium offers astronomical shows in the screening room under the dome. They tell about the size and construction of the Universe, make stars, con-stellations, and planets of the Solar System as well as history of astronomic discoveries.
13:00 – visit to the Piernikarnia Starotoruńska – place where you will learn the history of gingerbread and participate in gingerbread workshop
14:00 – two-course lunch with local touch
15:00 – time for coffee, shopping and souvenirs
16:00 – boat cruise from the boulevard in the Old Town to the opposite bank admiring the most beautiful panorama of the city
17:00 – departure from Toruń
18:00 – arrival to Bydgoszcz
